GE VMIVME-2170A is a high-performance digital output board produced by General Electric Company, widely used in the field of industrial automation. This module belongs to the GE Fanuc Automation VMIC series and has multiple functions and features.
VMIVME-2170A is a 32-bit optically coupled digital output board that utilizes VME bus compatible logic, data control logic, 4 8-bit output registers, and 32 optically isolated high-level outputs. This design enables it to provide high noise immunity, ensuring reliable operation even in noisy electrical environments. In addition, the module also supports 8-bit and 16 bit data transmission, and can accept two types of data transmission: monitoring data and non privileged data.
This module adopts a dual Eurocard external size PC board, providing all necessary address decoding and data transmission control logic. Its internal structure includes five main functional modules: address logic, control logic, data logic, output data registers, and output buffers. These modules work together to ensure the stability and reliability of the system.
