ABB AI845 is an analog input module widely used in ABB’s distributed control system (DCS). This module has the following main features and functions:
Number of channels: The AI845 module has 8 channels, each of which can be a voltage or current input.
Compatibility: When using MTU TU844 or TU845, each channel can be a voltage or current input; When using other MTUs, all channels become voltage or current inputs.
Input characteristics:
For voltage input, the input resistance is greater than 10 M Ω; For current input, the input resistance is 250 Ω.
Capable of withstanding overvoltage or undervoltage of at least 11 V DC.
Protection function:
Overvoltage protection: 45 VDC.
Overcurrent protection: The maximum overcurrent limit for each contact is 600 mA.
