The IS200VVIBH1C board is a vibration monitoring board manufactured by General Electric (GE) for its Mark VI system. It is specifically designed for:
Sensing and monitoring vibration levels in industrial environments.
Receive input signals from vibration probes connected to the terminal board. Up to 14 probes can be connected.
Process vibration data and convert it into usable information for monitoring equipment health status.
The following is its working principle:
Vibration probes (such as accelerometers) obtain vibrations from the machine.
The probe signal is sent to the terminal board (TVIB or DVIB)
The IS200VVIBH1C board processes signals from the terminal board. This includes converting signals from analog to digital and performing calculations.
The processed vibration data is then sent to the controller via the VME bus for further analysis and monitoring.
By monitoring vibrations, the IS200VVIBH1C card can help detect potential mechanical problems early, enabling preventive maintenance and avoiding expensive malfunctions.
